Tri-agency grants management solution (TGMS) collaboration

To ensure that the TGMS takes into consideration external perspectives in key decision-making, two external governance bodies have been established: the External advisory board and the External change agent network.

External advisory board

The mandate of the TGMS External advisory board is to provide independent advice and, upon request, recommendations to the TGMS Board on specific subject areas. The External advisory board represents the best interests of the research community as a whole.

To find out more about the roles and responsibilities of the External advisory board members, please read the Terms of reference.

Membership

The External advisory board is comprised of members representing the diversity of the three granting agencies’ research community.

External change agent network

The TGMS External change agent network consists of a group of representatives (ambassadors/change agents) from across the research communities of the three granting agencies (CIHR, NSERC and SSHRC). They provide an ongoing bidirectional channel of communication and engagement between the TGMS team and the research community.

To find out more about the roles and responsibilities of the external change agents, please read the Terms of reference. If you have questions or would like to get involved, please contact the TGMS team at TGMS-SGSTO@cihr-irsc.gc.ca.
